My name is Claudia Brüllhardt.
I was born and raised in Switzerland/Europe. My path, through Hula and Lomilomi Massage, brought me to Kailua Kona, Hawaiʻi Island, for the first time in 2007. After this, several visits followed before I moved to the Island in April 2015.
By my grandparents I was introduces in an early age to plants and their healing properties. Often I strolled with them through forest and meadow collecting plants for salves, oils and to eat. Later through my apprenticeship as an Assistant Pharmacist and my first Kumu Lomilomi, Tūtū Myra Delaquis, I learned it’s professional use.
After different professional positions, mainly in the Health area, I began to study massage in 2002. Since that time I have worked as a dedicated Massage Therapist specializing in Lomilomi Massage, Foot Reflexology and various other techniques. Most of my experience in the field of therapeutical massage as well as wellbeing treatments I have earned by working in 5star hotels in Switzerland. Besides massage I was employed as the assistant Spa Director with several managing responsibilities.
I study Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage with
Kumu Haunani R. Hopkins, Kailua Kona/Hawaiʻi
Kumu Dane Kaohelani Silva, Hilo/Hawaiʻi
Tūtū Myra Delaquis and Kumu Noëlle Delaquis, Aloha Spirit, Meilen/Switzerland
Since moving to Hawaiʻi Island I am a member of Ka Pā Hula Nā Wai Iwi Ola under the direction of Kumu Keala Ching,
Kailua Kona. In Switzerland I danced Hula since 2006 with Nā Wai ʻŌhiʻa under the direction of Kumu Noëlle Delaquis.
Also I serve as a Board Member of the Hawaiian Lomilomi Association.
